CornerHouse Gallery of Art
Today, it houses two floors of artwork, a giftware section, a framing design area, one of the largest gallery-based framing studios in the city, and an outdoor sculpture garden. Most importantly, you will have a sensory experience infused with an explosion of color and evocative images within the warmth of the surroundings. Services include appraisal, framing, art consultation, conservation and more. CornerHouse hosts seasonal art and gift shows where you are able to meet and talk with gallery artists.
CornerHouse features primarily local and Midwestern artists as well as a few national and international artists. You can also locate some rare finds by regionalist artists such as Grant Wood, Marvin Cone, Thomas Hart Benton and others. You'll find a little of everything in the gallery, from traditional to contemporary landscapes, abstracts, representational and figurative works, in a wide array of paintings and sculptures.
